If you want to explore Bundhelkhand over the weekend, there are overnight trains to Harpalpur Railway Station - a short drive away from The Alipura Palace, where from here you can fan out in all directions.

The Journey
Raja Manvendra Singh ji and his wife Rani Brijraj Kumari of Alipura shared a passion for history and restoration and converted their heritage fortress steeped in stories of bygone eras and opened their home to guests in 2005.
With unwavering dedication and a shared vision, they embarked on a journey to transform the ancient stone walls and crumbling courtyards into a charming heritage home. Through meticulous renovations and heartfelt attention to detail, they breathed new life into the fortress, preserving its original charm while adding modern comforts.
